Prayer for Unity with Team (We will begin each practice with this prayer)
Lord Jesus, we come before You seeking unity within our team.
Bind our hearts together in love and purpose, that we work harmoniously toward our common goals.
Grant us patience, understanding, and open communication, so that we may support one another and reflect Your light in
all we do. May our collaboration bring glory to Your name.
Amen.

Skin Infections: Ring worm and Impetigo can be common skin infections from wrestling matts. We do our best to clean
the mats but on occasion it can happen that your child will get a skin infection. Notify coach right away if you notice
something.
Ringworm is typically treated with antifungal medications, which can be creams, ointments, or pills, depending on the
severity and location of the infection. Over-the-counter options like clotrimazole or terbinafine are commonly used for skin
infections, while more severe cases may require prescription medications. Images below

Impetigo is a highly contagious bacterial skin infection, with the first signs including tiny bumps or blisters that form on
different parts of the body, such as the face, the hands, and the feet. As impetigo progresses, the sores eventually rupture
and develop honey-colored or yellowish scabs. Images below

To prevent skin infections, maintain good hygiene by showering immediately after practice and washing gear regularly.
Products like Defense shower gel, bar soap, face and hand soap or wipes are also helpful.
